The first Taiwan Expo to be held in Thailand opened on Thursday in Bangkok. The theme of this year’s expo is “Let’s TIE Together.”
Co-hosted by the Taiwan’s trade council and its Thai counterpart, the expo aims to showcase the best of Taiwan to people in Thailand and promote new business opportunities.
This is also the first time that the General Association of the Chinese Culture (GACC) has taken part in the expo. The GACC has showcased the latest designs and products from Taiwanese brands.
Some of the highlights include a surfing simulator that uses HTC’s virtual reality technology to allow users to see the ocean in 360 degrees. The GACC has also brought standout products from the tea and bicycle industries to present favorite pastimes in Taiwan.
